The Tibetan Buddhist temple is better known as Jingang Jing She by the Tambun locals and devotees. It is the home of Perak’s tallest Amithaba Buddha statue. The impressive Buddha stands 24 meters tall on top of the Jingang Jing She temple and Buddhists come from all over Malaysia and Singapore to gather and chant at the temple. Visitors can climb the steps leading to the top of the temple to view the statue and the awe-inspiring view across into the surrounding valley and orchards.
There are over 200 statues displayed in the temple. You will be guided through the temple by devotees who will explain the significance of this religious monument. The temple owes its popularity to the dedication and hard work of Fu Ah Kau or Master Kah Kee Lek; together with the devotees, he relentlessly fund-raised to transform the formerly dilapidated wooden temple into its present form.
Camping rate:
RM10 per person per night, breakfast excluded.
Facilities:
Camping on the elevated floors of the temple (for groups of 4 or more), cold water shower, toilet, kitchen, prayer hall
There is no electricity supply in the temple, however, guests will be given a torch for a refundable deposit of RM10 per torch.

Free vegetarian lunch on every 1st and 15th day of Chinese lunar calendar
