Loving The Slow And Good Life

Source: The Star ,31 August 2012

Bird's eye view: Ipoh has grown from a town to a city.

Refurbished: The Ipoh Railway Station is
one of Ipoh's most famous landmarks.

Sweet Fruit: Pomeloes one of the town's popular produce.

POOK: Ipoh used to be 'happening' with stalls found
along roadsides but it has all changed now.

Good old Day: (From left) A 1986 photo of the Anglo-Chinese Secondary School in Jalan Lahat,
which is the main road linking Ipoh and Menglembu,
a 1985 photo of the Choong Tat Nam roundabout (middle)
which has been turned into a traffic-light junction
and an old picture of Jalan Sultan Iskandar (formerly Hugh Low Street)
which used to be a hive of activities.
